There are alternative ways to improve eyesight
There are many ways to improve eyesight, and the most effective are presented within the book I wrote. Most of the people who seek advice on how to improve eyesight, unfortunately, are people who have already mistreated their eyes. If you are not one of them then you should know that the healthiest way to a perfect vision is a healthy lifestyle.
We use our eyes to see. They need rest and exercise just as much as the rest of our body does. By reading my book you will be able to gradually understand the importance that eye exercises have on improving your sight, how they can be an alternative to glasses or contact lenses and last but not least, how our eyes work, develop and age. The eyes age together with the rest of our body, of course, but just like our body, exercise and a healthy way of living may help them last longer and function better.
The health of your body dictates the health of your sight. There are drugs you take that affect your vision in a negative way. There is food that does not help your eyes. A healthy lifestyle will undoubtedly help you improve the way you see things. Literally. But on the other hand, you will also learn, by reading my book, that such methods do not replace medicine. Instead, they compliment it, making it more efficient. People or so called experts that say otherwise will undoubtedly try to trick you. Be aware, your sight is at stake.
I have written dozens of advice, articles and exercises to help people improve their sight naturally, and all of them are presented inside the book. But the most simple of advice I could give would be not to spend too much time working at the PC, sleep when you need to, get outside as much as you can, read as much as you can in natural light and eat things that have vitamins that can strengthen your eyes. I have dedicated an entire chapter to this subject inside the book.
It is at least a bit awkward, the lack of interest we invest in something that is so important in our lives: sight. Despite the importance our eyes have to our lives, we seem not to take proper care of them. There are several steps to take if you want to improve your vision. First you need to know what problems you have and how they can be treated using conventional medical techniques.
Learn as much as you can about your problems. Learn as much as you can about the range of solutions to your problems. There are many tools out there that can help. My book is definitely one of them. Give your best to heal your eyes naturally. It may be harder and it may require more effort from your part, but it will be that much more rewarding in the end. Glasses are not the only way, and surgery is definitely the last resort.
The Evolution Of The Bed Frame
At one time, in the not so distance history of man, there were no bed frames. Beds consisted of large pieces of cloth which were stuffed with, or thrown over straw and other materials to cushion the ground or floor where people slept. Aside from the fact that this wasn’t very comfortable, the straw, cotton or wool stuffing often became infested with insects which added to the general discomfort. Small animals also disturbed the sleep of our ancestors.
The first bed frame was probably the divan bed which was developed in Persia. The divan was a low platform made to hold the mattress which was still a large stuffed pillow. The divan provided at least some protection from insects and other vermin and the idea caught on in Europe. By the Renaissance, the bed frame was firmly entrenched in European culture and had evolved to a new level.
During the Renaissance, the wealthy commissioned elaborate bed frames which were often quite large in size. The bed frames were made to be easily disassembled since it was customary for the wealthy to travel with their own bedding and linens. Before the advent of public health services, bedding and linens at local hostelries could go quite a while between washings. Lice were not unknown. For this reason, those people who could afford it, traveled with their own beds.
During the 15th and 16th centuries, it was believed it was healthier to sleep in a sitting position and some bed frames were only 4 feet long. Examples of these may be seen at old military barracks in the UK and the US. During the 19th century, the metal bed frame was introduced. One of it’s selling points was that unlike wood, it would not attract or house insects. Up until the 20th century, insects remained a problem, even with the bed frame.
The bed frame was well established by the time the inner spring mattress was introduced in the mid 19th century. The ropes which often were used to support earlier mattresses became obsolete and bed slats became a part of the bed frame. Inner spring mattresses provided more comfort than any previous innovation in bedding. Bed frame sizes became standardized to fit the new mattresses and most bed frames were manufactured in factories. The craftsmen who previously created the elaborately carved and decorated bed frames of previous ages disappeared.
